4th time lucky?

We are finally getting married a week on Saturday!

We've had to postpone 3 other dates due to the pandemic and us being in lockdown for each and every one of them, and I just can't get excited about the wedding because I am a bundle of anxiety waiting for this one to go wrong at the last second too.

It's nothing like the wedding we dreamed of or planned, there will only be us and some family, (numbers don't permit us to have all family there) and the whole thing will only take an hour, be outside and be masked and socially distanced but I've made peace with all that.

I don't know why I'm posting, lots of people have been in the same boat but I just really really really want it to go ahead this time 🤞

Yay congrats! We are getting married this Saturday (3rd date) and I sort of feel the same - probably not going to get really excited until Friday night!!

It's a really weird feeling isn't it?

I'm going through the motions again, dress fittings, hair, nails, but I'm a bit numb to it all as I just can't quite believe that Boris isn't going to put a spanner in the works again.

Like you I think I might get excited on the Friday, maybe a little earlier if the news isn't making noises about rates shooting up! Hopefully you are close enough not to be at risk of things changing.

Yes a really weird feeling. Have just booked a last minute honeymoon (UK obvs!) for a couple of nights! Fingers crossed for yours next week - hope everything goes well!!
