Where do I start! I booked and payed in full for my wedding before the pandemic for early 2020, trying to get a refund has been a nightmare! The contracts already in place suggested I couldn’t claim nothing so felt I had no choice but to rearrange! So I did, then a few months later legislation on covid wedding refunds was made available and unfortunately it was a few months too late for me ( as I had already signed new contracts for this year) One of my suppliers (photographer) won’t give me a partial refund (should the worst happen and I’m only allowed a ceremony) I payed for a full day, instead they claim it’s “expenses” they have accrued over the last year, and I quote “for emails to u over the last year & utility bills like electric” how am I footing the bill for that? They are offering me a 2hr session for the full day price?
