Hi,

Has anyone got any lovely wedding day perfume suggestions for me to go try out?

It's a winter wedding, and I'd love something special so not overly fussed on price. I rarely wear perfume day to day, so I don't really have any particular scents I prefer.

Thanks!

I have always loved Anais Anais. It's one of those smells that just immediately take you back to a moment.

DramaAlpaca · 23/11/2020 23:57

I wore Anais Anais on my wedding day, but it was in summer and I see it as a light and summery scent.

Chanel Mademoiselle, love it.
I would also highly recommend a cream deodorant that can be rubbed into your skin. Won't come off on the dress and you do a lot of hugging on the day.
Hope you've a lovely day Flowers

Yes Chanel mademoiselle. It's classic and beautiful

Third vote for Chanel Madamoiselle. So lovely

I always used to get given it for Christmas so I tend to associate it with winter Shock It's funny how the same smell can evoke different feelings and memories.

Chanel Madamoiselle is lovely and fresh. I wore it for my lock down wedding in July 😊 I think I'll wear it for our big wedding next year....if it goes ahead.
I would say it's quite a summer/spring scent.
If you want something more Christmas and wintery how about Lancome EST belle?

Cinderella2020 · 27/11/2020 01:06

Thanks for the suggestions!

The Chanel one wasn't one I was aware of so definitely going to give it a try next time I'm at the shops. And the Lancôme!

Sometimes though I feel like I'm one of those people who you just can't smell perfume off. If that makes sense haha. Like I spray it on me and it instantly disappears!

I’ve got Olympea by pacco rebanne or however it’s spelt ☺️

Kayjay2018 · 08/12/2020 11:15

@Cinderella2020 Lancôme la vie east belle is my favourite, fell in love with it when I walked near it on display in boots and could smell it

Kayjay2018 · 08/12/2020 11:15

*est not east

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle is my signature scent, would definitely recommend it. I also like Boss Woman, although I find that doesn't last as long on me.

Shrillharridan · 08/12/2020 11:22

I had a winter wedding and had Jimmy choo, just the normal one with the black lid. It always takes me back. I'd say just pick a perfume that you like but one you haven't worn before so it can always take you back to that day.

LRHRN · 08/12/2020 11:32

Lancôme La vie est belle is my everyday perfume and it's stunning.

@BeSureToDrinkYourOvaltine
I married in winter too and used peony and blush suede it's gorgeous ❤️
I use the candles too 😍

emma8t4 · 11/12/2020 20:47

Everyone always comments when I wear Thierry mugler alien. More of a winter/evening scent than some of the other more summery ones

Sakura7 · 30/12/2020 13:06

Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir. Unlike most of her perfumes it lasts, and it's perfect for winter.

Cinderella2020 · 03/01/2021 03:42

Thanks for all the recommendations!

I think I'm going to go for the Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. They actually do once called Coco Mademoiselle Intense that smells slightly different, a little stronger, so I think that's the one I'm going to go for Smile

I also tried a fig one from Jo Malone that was quite nice, but the tester didn't last too long so not sure how it would hold up.

Thanks again for your help!
