December wedding

My wedding is booked for 5th December (just a small registry office one). Do you think it will still go ahead? Does anyone have a crystal ball?

Don’t know in England. We’re eloping to Scotland after UK wedding had to be cancelled. Plan is for 18th December. Can do it as long as we can travel out of UK, Scotland is fine...

We are in the same boat. Small registry office civil partnership booked 4th December in Central London.

Really hoping not to postpone. It’s only us, two friends as witnesses and our 9yo so hoping they will allow very small groups.

Its going to be a quick no frills event. We are having no vows, no flowers, no music, no photographer, no readings.

We have booked a table at The Wolseley for fizz afterwards - hope it is opening after lockdown.

@NamedyChangedy it’s an early evening ceremony so I’m wearing a black silver sequin Monsoon dress that I bought for my 40th bday this year and never got chance to wear.

I think you should be ok. Congratulations !! We got ours in just ahead of this lock down and it was lovely. A bit more of a Halloween vibe than the spring time one we'd originally booked but hey, we made it. Hope you have a fabulous day.

I can't believe it but my 9yo has been sent home to self isolate today for 14 days due to a covid case in his school bubble.
