Confused about ceremony fees

So I've paid a £50 non-refundable booking fee for the registration of marriage, and the fee to pay for the registrar to hold the ceremony is £540, 8 weeks before the ceremony. Is the £50 booking fee deducted from the total amount due? Also how do I pay the balance? They haven't provided any details of how I actually go about paying it. Can't find it anywhere as well on the council website

The booking fee is usually deducted from the final balance, but that's separate from the fee for notice of marriage - I'm not 100% sure if thats what you mean!

Best best is to call and ask them, ours were very laid back about it all!
