What’s too much ?!?

Hey ladies,
I need your advice - we have booked our venue and the hotel have said we could have 15 rooms if we want them, IF we booked all 15 rooms then we would be booking the full hotel.
I suppose my question is what’s too much to ask people to pay for a hotel room in June 2023 if they wish to stay over? I have spoken to the venue and they say they don’t offer group discounts between March and October which I think is a bit rubbish considering we would be booking out every single room.

Is the hotel in the middle of nowhere? Are there other options for guests?

I’d just send people details and let them book themselves if they want to stay. I wouldn’t want to feel under pressure to stay knowing the bride and groom needed to fill all of the rooms.

I think they should be offering discounted rates for your guests, if not I'd send your guests a list of places they could stay and let them choose for themselves.

If they're not offering your guests a discount then what's the point of you booking the rooms? Better to include a list of local hotels (including your venue) and let your guests choose.
