That is all! Tuesday, just 12 guests at the registry and a garden party, saved an absolute fortune and I can hand on heart say it was the most perfect day!! Not what we planned but just perfect! Been dying to use the term DH on mums net!!

Just wanted to shout it from the rooftops!

Congratulations. I bet it will also be more memorable to your guests than the typical identikit weddings. Sounds like a lovely day.

It was so personal and intimate and could sit in the sun with my children, family and closest friends and enjoy the day rather than trying to go around chatting to everyone in a room of 50+ people!
My mum and friends decorated the whole garden, balloon arch, flower wall, gazebo ect.. sweet jars for the kiddies. Lots of little touches. We each had an additional two friends join us in the garden after the Ceremony. My parents then surprised us with a hotel for the evening!
We are very lucky. I know everybody is different and some people would rather wait and postpone to have their dream wedding. I just thought it would be nice to share my positive experience!

Yay! I got married with 2 guests at the start of July :)

We are having the big wedding day next year....fingers crossed. But it has made the stress much less being legally hitched.
