Visiting venues/COVID-19

Hi all
So we cancelled our destination wedding at the height of the pandemic and booked a new venue in Devon. We obviously couldn't go view the venue but now that things are starting to open up, I emailed our wedding planner to ask if we could book an appointment in September to go see it. I was told they're currently not allowed to book any appointments and to email in a month and see if the guidance has changed.

Has anyone else been told the same? I'm not massively worried but I will be if no one else has been told the same!😬

I've got three appointments booked at three different venues next week which I have arranged over the last couple of days.

My venue has now put on social media that they're not allowing viewings to limit exposure and there's less risk for the weddings they have coming up. Makes sense but I'm still abit gutted.
