Hi there I am getting married next June and will have a 9 year old and an 18 month old. I. Just wondering what did people do if they had their own kids at their wedding. All our family and friends will be there so I am a bit stuck as what I I do. The 9 year old will be fine but the 18 month old will be going to bed around 8 and will need looking after for the rest of the night and since they won't be staying on our room at the hotel what do people do ?

we went to my sisters wedding when my dd was 14 months old. When it got late and she started to get tired I have her a cup of milk, changed her nappy and put her pyjamas on as normal and layed her down flat in the pushchair and rocked her to sleep. She slept all the way through the band playing and woke briefly about 11pm when we left anyway, then put her back to bed when we got to the hotel. I think all the excitement of the day will tire them out anyway and they will naturally fall asleep. Just forget the routine for one night
