Just as the title says really. We would like to get married next month or In July. Do you think registry office weddings will be allowed to go ahead by then? If so, how does it work in terms of giving notice of marriage? Could we do that now? Thanks all x

We have been told are wedding can go ahead. There are a lot of restrictions in place. I was wondering those who are going ahead with their weddings, are you still wearing your origin wedding dress?

Plancina · 09/07/2020 13:33

I am wearing mine - plan to wear it again next summer for a wedding reception!

KarenKuruma · 09/07/2020 13:37

Same here - we've put our reception venue back a year and we're having our party on our first anniversary, so we'll both wear our dresses again then

That's good to know. I was worried about feeling silly hopping in the family car in my dress.

So.....I can now go to a restaurant or pub and be in a room socially distanced with a number of other households. Soon, I'll be able to go to the gym.

But I cant be married in a large room of a registry office, socially distanced from 2 households attending without being rushed through, 1 photo in the building and no music. Great!

@Sjjr23 it’s made me so annoyed. I can only have 2 witnesses but footballers can hug, spit and run around a field, tackling etc that’s ok but standing still, socially distancing for 10 minutes is a huge no no!

Does NOT MAKE SENSE!
