Anyone else stress levels through the roof?

Hello all,

I would just like to say hello to all those brides who are in lock down at the moment. I am really struggling with anxiety and stress due to cancelling our wedding.
Sad

Quick context we cancelled our April wedding and then moved it to September 2020. Unfortunately we were too optimistic. My partner and I have just sent another email to the venue to hopefully change for the summer 2021.
I am sitting here with knots in my stomach and definitely experiencing anxiety.

I am so so so worried the venue and suppliers won't move again. However now things are unfolding I really don't want a wedding in sept 2020. I've also been quite unwell and in hospital and I'm worried I maybe taken ill again before September.

Is anyone else struggling? Just feeling so down.

We were due to get married next month, we held onto the possibility of a wedding later this year but postponed everything to next June. I felt relieved initially but just feel so sad now. I’m hoping once the date passes I’ll be able to start looking forward to next year and it will be better knowing it is already organised and paid for. I hope your venue and suppliers allow you to change, the chances are they won’t want to do it either if social distancing is still in place.

I wonder when there will be more clarity, what the numbers will look like for July-September weddings? Will we find this out at the end of June do you think? It’s the unknown for me. I don’t know if we are getting married this August or next year. We have 100+ people, I’m skeptical about large groups but who knows what the coming months will bring. Also to let guests know (esp guests travelling and needing accom), suppliers etc.

I was meant to be getting married in August but in limbo! Venue is adamant it will go ahead and we can't cancel 🤷🏻‍♀️ I've accepted I probably won't get married but can't do anything until Boris makes up his mind. Someone in Twiter has just started a petition that they give us some clarity on weddings.

We're meant to be getting married in October but have no idea whether it will go ahead or not. I feel like I could cope so much better with lockdown if this stress wasn't looming over us Sad

I'm getting married in December and can't even allow myself to get excited. We've provisionally booked the venue for the same date in 2021 just in case, but I'm praying we won't need it.

We have just moved our date to next summer, the venue were really great and understanding. I do feel more relaxed now, slightly sad about this year but time goes quickly. Hope you all get answers about your weddings soon (whether they can go ahead or be moved).
