Wedding moved to next year

I'm in a really good mood today. All of our wedding suppliers have agreed to move our bookings to the same weekend next year!

Everyone was so understanding about the risk to our guests and have been lovely about it.

So even though I'm disappointed that we won't be getting wed this year, I am so looking forward to next year!

Hope everyone rescheduling has such a positive experience too.

We've postponed too, the venue have been amazing and not charged us to change. My friend is being royally screwed over by hers!

Our experience has been great too! All suppliers have been really understanding. Conscious we are some of the lucky ones though - I really feel for those with rockier experiences.

It's so nice when people are so understanding and helpful. I can't imagine being screwed over about something so important, I hope your friend gets it sorted out soon.

Hi @Angbunnyboo that's great news...do you mind me asking when were you due to get married this year?

I think you should mention it on their Facebook page when venues/suppliers have been good during this period - it gives people looking for venues the heads up that they’re reasonable.

I was getting married on 1st August, just couldn't risk it as worried about second wave.

@Angbunnyboo so glad you got your date rebooked to what you wanted and with all of your preferred suppliers!

We have been asked if we want to rebook or wait it out. Are none of you who have rebooked worried about this virus resurfacing next year? There’s supposedly a high chance of it becoming an annual thing like flu, only more contagious.

We were end of March. Postponed until end of September but now wondering what to do... I really can't decide!
