I chose my wedding dress shortly before lockdown. We were due to have a May wedding which of course had had to be postponed to (hopefully) October. Do you think this dress is suitable for an autumn wedding or would I be better with long sleeves? What is your opinion on the dress overall? Thank you.

Beautiful dress! Unless you're planning on spending a long time outside I wouldn't worry about needing long sleeves.

Honeyroar · 14/04/2020 18:46

It looks lovely and will work just as well in October as it would in May (quite often v similar temperatures in those months).

It's beautiful. Really stunning. You look perfect. And I'm very picky!

Hope you have a wonderful day.

NiteFlights · 14/04/2020 18:47

It is gorgeous. Perfectly fine for October.

Beautiful!!!

I also got married in October by choice and also didn't need sleeves. I was running on adrenaline and so was actually a little hot and flustered - was glad I had gone for a sleeveless dress! The only time I was cold was during the evening photos outside but the photographer kindly lent my her fleece between shots!

Your dress is lovely on you and really suits you - here's to hoping for your October date Smile

Beautiful! Really suits you.

Beautiful! If you are worried about getting chilly in October you could always get something to put over the top. the duchess of Cambridge had a lovely cardigan with her second dress that has always stuck in my mind.

It's a beautiful dress (although I'm biased as it looks very much like mine - although yours is nicer tbh) and I wore mine in late September and it was fine. x

Bert2020 · 14/04/2020 18:55

Absolutely beautiful!

EllJ · 14/04/2020 18:55

You look absolutely stunning in your dress, you really do.
I was married in November in a strapless dress and I was cold for the outdoor pics but it truly didn't matter.

Angellegna · 14/04/2020 18:59

I love it!

Stunning dress. I little wrap but only when outside. It’s too beautiful to cover up

waybird · 14/04/2020 19:14

Really gorgeous dress
You look stunning

jewelledpineapples1 · 14/04/2020 19:18

you look incredible

EmpressSuiko · 14/04/2020 19:18

It’s beautiful! If it is chilly I would wear a bolero, most people can happily tolerate the temperature in October, I’m one of those people who finds anything under 20 degrees too cold 😂

CaroleFuckinBaskin · 14/04/2020 19:20

Gosh that's gorgeous!

Mightymaniac1 · 14/04/2020 19:30

You look absolutely fantastic!!

NW2SW · 14/04/2020 19:31

You look lovely. I had an October wedding, it was actually lovely and sunny and you'll be better off with a sleeveless dress otherwise I'm sure you'll find it boiling in the evening, especially on the dance floor Grin

JKScot4 · 14/04/2020 19:35

Half of MN suggest bloody wraps for everything 🙄
The dress is gorgeous don’t ruin it with a naff wrap/cardigan.

harper30 · 14/04/2020 19:37
