Supposed to be getting married in 12 days time. Anyone else in same boat?!
Hotel are advising it's business as usual (with more hygiene processes) until they are basically told otherwise!

@Honeyroar currently trying but church services off so no idea how to get banns read and it’s 28 days to give notice at a registry

Decided to postpone my 11.4.20 wedding. Gutted. We have been offered 28.11.20. Not quite the doing wedding I was wanting. It was all getti too risky, especially with lockdown looming

We've just had to cancel the weddings we have booked in at the place I work. Such a horrible feeling. Knowing we've ruined someone's big day 😔

Talk to your venue and see if they can accommodate a small (couple plus witnesses and registrar's) ceremony in their licensed room as planned. They may be happy to help if they don't have large numbers of guests and staff to deal with, especially if you are planning to hold your big party with them later.

Oh my god the insurance companies are assholes if they wriggle out of paying you guys back. I hope the government takes action against that.

18th of April and we're only able (as it stands) to have our legal ceremony with us and 4 guests.

Our reception venue cancelled yesterday and we're just waiting for things to improve before we rebook. We've been lucky that they offered to refund or hold funds to rebook but we're worried that businesses will go bankrupt in the midst of all this shite and we won't be able to get refunds. Like this situation isn't crap enough already 🤦🏻‍♀️
