Wedding Ring

My mum died a few years ago and I have her wedding rings ( her original one and another she had at about their 20th anniversary)
They just sit in a box and are too big for my fingers.
I'm thinking of taking them to a jeweller and having them melted down and designed into a wedding ring for me .
Would you do this or keep original ones ? I quite like the thought of my wedding ring also having been significant to my parents ( now both passed )

That sounds lovely. I have 2 wedding rings, and if either of my dds decided to do that I would be pleased. Better than just sitting in a box.
It also means your ring is unique Flowers

Thanks. It is something I'm definitely considering . As well as marriage , we've ' only ' been together 21 years

I would do it.

I had my Mum's wedding ring made into a bangle along with my dd's 18th birthday ring. I wear it all the time.
