What to do after wedding?

Me and my partner have spontaneously decided we want to get married, we've set the date for 3 weeks time. It's only going to be us, our children, my mother and brother in law. We've booked for a fine dining restaurant of the evening to celebrate with the rest of our family and friends. However, we wanted to get married later on of the afternoon so we could go from the registry office to the meal, unfortunately the time was taken that we wanted. So we've had to have 11 o'clock. So we want to plan/book something to do between 12 and 5, does anybody have any suggestions?

How about changing the meal to lunch?

@cantdecidewhich I would but most of our close family and friends work and we figured it would be better of the evening so we could have a drink

Where's the wedding? I saw one in a bridal magazine where everyone went to a funfair for the afternoon. Is there anything like that you could do?

Museum, art gallery, sex at a hotel. google top 10 things to do in your area and pick some.

A nice walk

Go to a nice hotel for the afternoon and play board games in the lounge (obviously this is a marmite thing - some people loathe board games!)

People might have other ideas if you let us know the location.

Lunch then bowling?

How about lunch then cinema? or a nice early afternoon tea somewhere with champagne?
