What role to give my dad

Both myself and H to be have been marries before and have teenage children, we are having quite a small wedding (only immediate family and very close friends) I really want my DS (15) to walk me down the aisle, but my dad is still around and I want to give him a role but what...?

Would he be comfortable doing a reading ?
Making a speech afterwards / at the Reception ?

He could do a reading or be a witness. You could be walked down the aisle by both your dad and you son, your beginning and your future.

I'm in a similar situation and plan to have my dad on one side and my son on the other. And no speeches from either as they're both quite shy!
