Which dress?

Which wedding dress do you prefer?

I’ll preface by saying I’ve already bought one of these before seeing the second while shopping for bridesmaid dresses.

I’m now regretting my choice and wish I’d bought the second but the 1st has been paid in full as it was on sale so I’d lose £450 if I now buy the second dress. I love it though and can’t get it out of my head.

Which do you prefer?
Sleeveless or with sleeves?

I prefer the first dress. The second is too fussy for me.

You look lovely by the way!

PurpleDaisies · 06/01/2020 15:18

You could have some little cap sleeves added to the first dress?

MeganChips · 06/01/2020 15:20

Honestly, I prefer the second but you look great in both.

Lucked · 06/01/2020 15:21

I think the shape of dress 2 is more flattering, it may be the angle but you look slimmer. However I don’t love the skirt of dress 2 and prefer the styling of 1. Sorry that is probably really unhelpful.

Expressedways · 06/01/2020 15:22

I think you’ve made the right choice, the first one gives you a lovely shape and I’m personally not a fan of the fussy skirt of the second. If you wanted to I’m sure it wouldn’t be too difficult to add some straps or cap sleeves to the first one.

Engard · 06/01/2020 15:23

Always prefer sleeves. I don't understand why brides want to spend the day pulling their dress up!

Napqueen1234 · 06/01/2020 15:23

I LOVE two. Sorry that’s probably not the answer you want!

ButterflyRuns · 06/01/2020 15:24

I prefer the second, so pretty but if you’re happy with number one and don’t want to lose that money I would just keep it as both are nice! Could make adjustments to the dress you already have as PP mentioned?

LochJessMonster · 06/01/2020 15:25

I love 2. Its different but so pretty and elegant.

Although, 1 is also very nice if that's the one you bought first.

HariboStarmix · 06/01/2020 15:25

I think the first pic is more flattering and my favourite, but I do like number two as well.

villamariavintrapp · 06/01/2020 15:25

2

LilouBlue · 06/01/2020 15:26

The second is a far nicer shape than the first, and I love the little sleeves.

Heismyopendoor · 06/01/2020 15:27

The second is much more flattering and more modern

Bubblysqueak · 06/01/2020 15:27

The first one.

BillieEilish · 06/01/2020 15:28

They are both lovely, I marginally prefer 2, but not by much.

Lipperfromchipper · 06/01/2020 15:31

2- hands down!!

Miltonj · 06/01/2020 15:40

number 2!!!!!!

CornishPorsche · 06/01/2020 15:41

First, but I hope you have a different veil, as that's doing little for a lovely dress.

The second, I love the skirt but the bodice doesn't suit it at all - they are too different.

Indella · 06/01/2020 15:41

The veil in both pics isn’t the one I will be wearing

Could you not just buy the second one as well if you can't get a refund and do an outfit change! One look for ceremony, one for the party!

Lauren83 · 06/01/2020 15:43

I prefer the second I think it looks more modern

dreamingofmushrooms · 06/01/2020 15:44

I think they are both absolutely gorgeous, but for me it would be the first one by a small margin.

TheLovleyChebbyMcGee · 06/01/2020 15:47

The first is much nicer imo, but its not our opinions that matter!

Apolloanddaphne · 06/01/2020 15:47

I prefer the first one.

LynetteScavo · 06/01/2020 15:48

I like the bottom of the first dress but the top of the second dress. I think the straps are more flattering than strapless.
