Changing occupation details on the day?

Hi,

I'm getting married in the new year and we've given our Notice of Intention several weeks ago. Obviously they ask standard details like name, address, occupation etc.

My worry is that I'm changing my department next week so will have a completely different job title by the time of the wedding.

Do they double-check these details on the day, before it goes on the certificate? I'm unreasonably panicking over this 😅

You can change it on the day! They'll check all the info you provided in your pre ceremony chat. I was a bad daughter and got my father's occupation wrong, but it was all sorted. Congrats on the wedding :)
