Non traditional wedding dress?

My partner and I are due to marry in May. Very small ceremony in a registry office (just the two of us and witnesses) followed by a casual outdoor reception at my father's house.

I'm not keen on wearing a traditional white wedding dress to walk down the (short) aisle in. I've been looking for midi length dresses and quite like the idea of a grey/blush dress with beading or embroidery. Other than that I haven't seen much I like!

My question is does anyone know of any dresses/ designers which are gorgeous and pretty but not obviously 'wedding-y'? I want to feel amazing on my wedding day but I'm stuck with what to wear...

I have dark hair and am a size 12. Will be 31 on the day! I don't really a budget in mind, I'll be happy to pay for an expensive dress if I love it.

I saw a gorgeous cocktail dress with loads of detailed beading. I always thought I'd wear a white wedding dress, but after seeing this dress I would actually wear it on my wedding day.

I've just had a nose and there as some beautiful ones by needle and thread as suggested by another poster

I have this dress that I wore to my engagment party! Everyone commented on how stunning and wedding like it was! I'm a 12 but got a 14 and felt amazing and the pictures are gorgeous!! Its a blush colour with loads of beading
