Can’t decide which wedding ring

I’m so indecisive and after picking my ring and being happy with it I saw another that I also loved and now I can’t decide between the 2.

I love them both. Which do you think looks better on?

There’s £100 price difference between them which I think is probably swaying me also.

Engagement ring doesn’t fit and doesn’t go with either to be fair so they wouldn’t be worn together anyway.

So which looks better, crossover ring or band ring?

I was going to say similar to @NatashaAlianovaRomanova - my weight has fluctuated by around three stone (😳) since I got married 10 years ago, and I’ve never had to have any of my rings resized.

ImagineRainbows · 28/09/2019 21:25

I’ve only gone 1 size smaller than the jeweller measured me. I’m aiming to lose a further 3 stone and have lost 1 already.

I prefer the crossover one Smile

Have you considered a Russian wedding ring? Something like these as it doesn't sound like you really really love the ones you've got. I'd choose the wider band for your hand. Also, I don't want to sound negative, but I've put in 3 stone since we were married and my ring still fits and comes off easily. Losing weight doesn't always mean your fingers will too.

Congratulations though and hope you find a ring that speaks to you.

I don’t think you’ve found ‘your ring’ yet. When you have no other will come close. Agree with previous poster that a russian wedding ring is a beautiful idea. Also, I lost 4 stone and my ring only became slightly looser, certainly didn’t need resizing so I’d buy the correct size for you now.

MrsApplepants · 29/09/2019 00:18

Oh, and congratulations!

I find them both incredibly similar to your engagement ring so I’m surprised that you don’t like your engagement ring.

Also prefer the one that crosses over and is nearer the nail in the photo with both.

Ifixbrokenthings · 16/10/2019 22:24

I like the band. I got a plain platinum band made though for 210 sterling so go to a good jewellers, ideally a wholesalers and get yours made. It shouldn't be a problem with a 250 budget.

And congratulations.

Avoid anything with diamonds on top, the bands swirl around and the stone end up on the palm side of your hand. Stones fall out when gardening etc.

Purpleartichoke · 16/10/2019 22:34

I like the thinner ring

Walnutwhipster · 16/10/2019 22:42

Get the jeweller to hold the ring you choose and get the correct size. You lose little weight from your fingers. I'm five stone lighter than at my heaviest and my rings still fit perfectly, even after 25 years.

Time40 · 16/10/2019 22:56

The crossover one, by miles.

And I like your engagement ring, OP.

Whoops75 · 16/10/2019 23:00

I prefer the band

The crossover ring is more dress ring than wedding ring.

I only wear one ring too, really dislike lots of rings together.
