Mother’s wedding ring?

My mum died not too long ago and I have her beautiful wedding ring.

I could have it resized for my right hand, but as I’m getting married soon I thought I might like to use it for my own wedding ring.

Would anyone think that to be a bit odd?

No, it’s lovely

I have my Grans wedding ring as my wedding ring.

If you are lucky enough to have had a lovely dm I would go for it!

I wear my mums and my wedding ring. I love having in on as a constant reminder

😊

Thank you. I didn’t know if others would find it a bit macabre. Not that it matters. I’d love to wear it. I always used to try it on and admire it. It’s a gold band with an engraved platinum insert sort of thing. It’s lovely

No it's lovely.

My mum's wedding ring was ugly as hell but she gave it to me after my parent's divorce so I had that plus my late grandmother's broken gold jewellery melted down and made into a unique ring. It means far more to me than a bought ring. The rest of the old or broken gold jewellery that I had and others had given to me paid for the whole thing too.

I think it's a lovely idea.

No that's lovely. I have my DGran's wedding ring as part of mine.

I had my grandmother's wedding band with her name engraved inside. I was very sad after my divorce to have to put it away.

I have my Grans ring. It was a masssive 1960’s job and I got it cut down and used the spare gold for the hen night.I love it.Very eco friendly too.
