Does anyone know how small Maggie Sottero runs?

I've bought a dress in my current size 14, it's second hand. It's not lace up but it's got a low back. I know that wedding dresses always run small so I'm expecting to need to drop at least one dress size but wondering if it's likely to be more.

Does anyone have one? What size did you need Vs your high street size?

I had a Maggie size 16 and I was a 12/14 at my wedding. It was the Victoriana so a corset back.

I was a size 10 and bought my Maggie dress (briony) in a size 12 and it was fine. Needed slight adjustments but not too bad.

I tried one on recently and it was a zip up back and a size 22.

I’m a 12 but my dress from this brand is 16. Having it taken in though.

I was a 14 but had an 18. That was in 2005 though!

I was a small 12 last year and bought an American size 8 (stupidly thinking it was a U.K. 12 rather than a 10 ). Measurements were given as bust 36 inches, waist 28 and hips 38.
I was a good 2 inches away from getting it done up.

I did a serious diet and got into it (just) I had lost my belly and I don’t have a big bust but I do have wide shoulders and ribs which proved to be a problem I couldn’t do much about.
