Giving notice-documents

We are going to give notice on Monday. I was going to use my passport for my id. It's valid but only until November 2019 and we are wanting to get married in February 2020. Does anyone know if I can still use it? The website just says valid..which it currently is but it won't be when I get married (not sure if I'm going to renew it straight away).

It just has to be valid now, not when you actually get married.
We gave notice in April & don’t get married until November (although our venue has had a huge fire & now am not sure it will happen but that’s a whole other story!) Anyway, my fiancé used his passport which only had about a month left on it.
