Dress 2 ❤️

boltfromblue · 21/07/2019 23:17

Just noticed yesterday's - option 1 by a country mile.

I would never say this in public but I have impeccable taste and am VERY critical. 🔨

boltfromblue · 21/07/2019 23:18

Just get the shop to join up the font bit everso slightly so it's not so plunges

boltfromblue · 21/07/2019 23:19

You can tell it's right because of the way you hold yourself in it.

CherryPavlova · 21/07/2019 23:24

We went a few weeks ago. The assistant suggested just picking about a dozen that appealed and try them on. Then decide which you didn’t like at all, which you like but weren’t sure and which you liked particular bits off.
She then bought another half dozen or so to try and get closer to the ideal. My daughter tried them and was umming about three quite different ones. The assistant then bought one last dress which she’d chosen to have all the bits we liked. My daughter tried it on and hpjust knew it was the one.
I thought it a clever way of guiding her. Could yours not do likewise?

Personally, I like the first but think it’s perhaps a bit too plunging. It could be drawn together a touch, perhaps?

GreenTulips · 21/07/2019 23:29

It could be drawn together a touch, perhaps?

It’s a fake neck line - look at the picture - it had a modesty panel, an extra life of flesh colored material, no skin is showing, it’s meant to look plunging but it isn’t. Jezzzz

Jointheteam · 21/07/2019 23:30

Haha @boltfromblue I’d love your unbiased opinion, I’m at the opposite end of the country unfortunately!

Every time I look at this one I love it more and more.

I think I feel too much pressure in the shop to give the right reaction. I don’t really have a change to just study the dress and how I feel and look. I get too influenced by everyone else. As soon as I left the shop and was able to see the photos I was able to see this was my favourite and I loved how I looked.

For some reason when I put it on I worried it looked too “Katie price” Blush

But looking at the photos I don’t think so...?

I love the second dress in your OP. It's beautiful and elegant (without crossing the straps at the back). But the first dress you posted on Sunday is stunning. It suits you perfectly.

soapona · 21/07/2019 23:40

Love the last one definitely the one classy!!!!

boltfromblue · 21/07/2019 23:52

Definitely not trashy at all. Is the whole of the font a flesh panel? Could this be taken off and an extra piece of material put between the boobs, just to cover up a tiny bit?

If not it still is gorgeous, I'm just not a lover of showing cleavage but if you wore a pretty but not push up bra, you'd be fine

boltfromblue · 21/07/2019 23:55

Also, I found my wedding dress and knew straight away but because I felt that I needed to try others, I did but went straight back to it.

This was 20 years ago and I would probably still Wear it today. (And it still fits!)

That dress is a classic and will not date - nor will your photos.

Hellbentwellwent · 22/07/2019 00:21

join your gut is totallly right and you absolutely do not look too Katie price, you look stunning. That’s the best dress by a mile!

EileenAlanna · 22/07/2019 02:14

Dress 1. Absolutely gorgeous on you & a truly timeless, elegant style.

georgialondon · 22/07/2019 08:58

Your current favourite is by far the best. It looks great and gives you a good shape.

LegoPiecesEverywhere · 22/07/2019 09:04

Dress 3 by a mile.

BrokenWing · 22/07/2019 12:20

So instead of actually showing off too much cleavage, it just looks like its showing off too much cleavage Hmm

OP the shape looks stunning on you, but I'm in the too plunging camp for bridal wear. The top looks more lingerie than an elegant bridal gown, but if that is the look you are going for then go for it, you have the figure for it.

Jointheteam · 22/07/2019 12:43

Thanks, is this the dress 1 you are talking about?

Or my current favourite (as this also has a slight plunge but nothing much)

OP posts:
boltfromblue · 22/07/2019 12:46

Can you adjust dress 3 to have slightly less plunge? If not it is still the best and gorgeous on you?

MotherofKitties · 22/07/2019 12:48

Dress one.

It's beautiful and elegant and shows your figure off more.

paap1975 · 22/07/2019 12:57

Dress 1 from the second round for me!

Dress 2 from the first round swamps you

peachgreen · 22/07/2019 13:36

I like Dress 1 from the second round too but honestly, OP, you're stunning and will look amazing whichever you choose.

KTD27 · 22/07/2019 13:41

Oh my god the one you like now (dress one from ‘yesterday’) is PHENOMENAL. You have to pick that one you look amazing

Wishingalot · 22/07/2019 13:50

The original number 2.

I don't like the others at all sorry. The necklines are too plunging and overwhelmes you.
