Please help design our centrepieces.

We have large numbers which We would like to be the focal point of the centrepiece.

No naked flames allowed at the venue Smile

What colour/design/material/size are the numbers (pic?)

HappyHarmonica · 10/06/2019 21:59

This will totally out me if my family see this thread. They are white Lego numbers about 25cm high and probably 15cm wide

Check eBay, people often sell them off post-wedding

Pootles34 · 11/06/2019 14:12

I can't see your photo but that sounds amazing! Surely you have to construct lego centerpieces?! So like a green lego base with little flowers, maybe lego churches, with lego figures that look like you guys etc? This may cost a fortune tbf.... If you wanted to continue the theme, lego do wedding sets you can buy as favours for kids, they have a little bride and groom! here

inchoccyheaven · 11/06/2019 14:33

We had battery operated tea lights in our centre pieces instead of real candles and had little hearts with our names and date on scattered on table.

HappyHarmonica · 11/06/2019 14:45

Will check eBay

@Pootles34 yes the Lego theme is expensive. I've built the Lego numbers so am trying to do the rest slightly more traditional (and hopefully cheaper) thinking log slices or mirror plates etc. Just no idea what to do if they won't let me have tea lights as my idea involved tea lights.

@inchoccyheaven I'll have to have a better look at the fake tea lights. The ones I saw before were so fake I didn't like them. The little hearts with name and date on sound lovely

We had plastic looking ones in bird cages so you didn't see them just the light showing through but we also had lots of wax candles that were battery operated so looked more realistic.

HappyHarmonica · 11/06/2019 17:31

Will definitely have a look 🙂

SheWoreBlueVelvet · 11/06/2019 18:11

What’s wrong with just having them on the table? No will even care after the first 15 seconds.

Banhaha · 11/06/2019 18:17

Could you just put them in the middle of the table and scatter some more bricks around on the table to encourage people to play with the Lego if they get bored?

moreismore · 11/06/2019 19:10

Ooh I like banhaha’s idea!

HappyHarmonica · 11/06/2019 21:44

Yes I like that idea nice and simple

Mirror tiles to sit them on?

HappyHarmonica · 12/06/2019 10:05

Yes thank you all. Now to go shopping 🙂
