How to make small wedding fun for 7 yr old?

Hello all. How do we make a small intimate wedding (12-15 people) fun for a 7 year old? We were considering church ceremony followed by going to a restaurant for food. Not sure how fun that would be for a 7 year old though so we're looking for alternatives. Any suggestions hugely appreciated

A goodie bag with lots of fun different things for them to do throughout the day?

Yes I second that idea. When we got married we had quite a few children ranging in ages so i made “party bags” with sweets, colouring pads, crayons, puzzles and stickers. The kids loved them and it kept them all quiet whilst the speeches were taking place.

We did it for cheap as well by going to Poundland. Doesn’t have to cost the earth 😊

Only one 7 year old? Let them invite a friend.

We gave my then 7yo an old digital camera. She loved snapping away and actually got some great pics!

Give them a job to do? Like the camera idea.
