I've never been to one, and am still holding out hope for my friend to marry his partner Halo Glitterball

Yup, just like going to a wedding of my straight friends... Were you thinking it would be different?

Yes. It was the best wedding I've ever been to. Mostly because I genuinely love both the women getting married and knew lots of the people there. They also made sure the food was incredible and there were two dresses to admire, which was nice. I do love a fancy frock.

My sister in law and her wife. And it was the most beautiful wedding

  • quite a big fancy one but the love there was incredible.

A gay wedding is a wedding lol.

Yes. It was very different to most weddings I’d been to as it wasn't in a church and was a middle aged couple but retained the key ingredients that are important - genuine desire to commit to the person they loved for life before friends and family.
Not overly glitzy or large but a lovely day.

Yes it was lovely. The attention to detail was excellent and all the guests- about 50 were made to feel extremely welcome.

Yes, but I just like to think of them as weddings
