Where to buy suits?!

So how have people purchased suits. Have you gone for hired or bought them? We're trying to keep costs down as we have the best man and groomsmen to buy for too.

Could they just all wear suits they already own? I think that can look smarter than them all being matchy- matchy.

We hired them as they were really expensive to buy. However we went for 'normal' suits, not the usually unflattering and badly fitting traditional morning suits. Therefore if the groomsmen/best man wanted to keep them they could buy them themselves thus keeping our wedding costs down!

We will be hiring from moss bros. Not morning suits as we don’t like them. I think going for Ted Baker or French connection blue suit

Hired from Moss Bros.

We bought from Moss Bros but only had one to buy (no bridal/grooms party).

We got excellent value - £125 suit that was the perfect colour and size, down from over 400.

We also didn't go for morning suits. But mainly cus our wedding was white casual and took place in the late afternoon.

We had the Moss Bros own brand ones called 1851

Hired from moss bros

We didn't go down the matchy route.

Got dh an expensive suit from house of Fraser and ushers and best men were requested to wear grey or black suit which they were all fine with. Don't think any of them bought. We provided ties.

Frazzled2207 · 17/04/2019 08:19

Btw they were normal suits not morning suits
