Affordable Dress Brands

I've just started looking at wedding dresses and I'm becoming increasingly frustrated at how hard it is just to get a rough idea of price from bridal shops without booking an appointment and being talked into spending a fortune. I simply want to know what some reasonably priced brands are so I know if it's even worth the effort going into the shop. By affordable I mean less than £800, all the info I can find online goes from high street (£100-200) straight to designer (£1,000-2000). Can anyone help with ideas for mid range dresses? There must be some that fall in the middle of those!!!

Mine was brand new and cost £180 it was from a bridal shop and was apparently "last season" - she gave it me £150 for cash!

Wed2b?? Most expensive dresses there are £599

Mine was phase eight. £395 I think.
It wasn't a full length one, but it was a proper wedding dress - ie. beautifully made, and beautifully tailored.

Another vote for Wed2B. Or if you are in/near the North East Butterflies Bridal outlet and Bridal factory Outlet are great - no appointments needed and all dresses have prices on them. (all have websites too)

Most boutiques sell samples within your price range. Pop in and have a look. Once you know what you are after, eBay becomes a good option.

Wed2B. No appointment, just turn up and try on dresses. All prices clearly marked and you can walk away with the dress on the day.

Just be cautious of alteration costs when getting dresses from places like wed2be

Wed2B is where I got mine for £699.
