Giving notice

Hi,

We're getting married in April but have already given notice of marriage and sorted the legal parts. We have just sold our property and are moving (staying in the same area, council will be the same etc) but we don't know how long it'll take to exchange etc so we may or may not have moved come the wedding. Do we need to change our address before the day if we do move?

Sorry if this is really random but everything is just all a bit 'what if?' at the moment.

Best thing to do because it legal advice your after is phone your local council who’s dealing with your ceremony and ask them x

As you've already given your notice and are staying under the same council etc. you should just be able to phone up and let them know your address has changed. That's what me and DP did when we moved.

They should also go through all the things they do when you give your notice on the day of your wedding and you get chance to amend anything then that has changed.
