Help with colours please

I quite like the idea of a very pale pink for my 2 bridesmaids dresses but dont like the idea of pink ties for the men. Can anyone help me work out a solution please. The men will be in navy or silver suits if that helps.

From a bridesmaid's point of view (I am one later this year), there are a lot of pale pink/nude toned dresses out there and it's generally a very unflattering colour! We are looking at a different colour but I tried one dress in a pale pink because they didn't have the colour we wanted and I was seeing what the sizing was like and it made me look so washed out. Might be better on a darker skin tone maybe although the other BM is fairly olive-skinned and it didn't look nice on her either.

There is a lot of pale green around which would look nice with silver? Could work with pale pink flowers etc.

Thanks for the reply certainly got me thinking. I also like powder blue but I love very pale pink and cream roses which swayed me towards the pink dresses

At the end of the day, if you pay for the dresses, you get the ultimate say. Suggest it to your bridesmaids if you like it - it might just be me that doesn't like the pink!

Could you have a pale pink dress and the bridesmaids and men have grey/silver?

Silver/grey or navy ties would look nice with the pale pink dresses

Would you consider having your bridesmaids in navy? That would contrast beautifully with the pale pink flowers - otherwise the flowers might get lost against the pink fabric.

Men in silver suits with navy ties/waistcoats.

I'm having blush pink and the men are in navy suits we've gone for pink dickiebow and braces which are more subtle then pink ties although they could wear navy ties and have pink buttonholes ?

Nobody looks good in pale pink do they. We t to a wedding with beautiful midnight blue bridesmaids dresses, would look lovely with pink flowers.

Silvery grey dresses are a nice idea. The men could wear navy suits with silver ties and the pale pink flowers would look lovely with all those colours and more of a contrast than if you had pink dresses too.

If you're echoing the flowers then have the men in navy suits, with pale gold ties and cream/pink/gold buttonholes.

Don't have silver with cream.

If you like blue and pink, you could go in-between, and perhaps choose a lavender that has a more blue/grey tone? It looks great with navy or grey suits. And a bouquet with lavender, pink, blue, and green foliage looks heavenly.

We had grey/silver and baby pink for our word and looked amazing together

How about more of a dusky pink for the dresses? It’s generally more flattering than very pale pink which could make them look nude on the day.

Then mauve ties with navy suits for the men. They could have cream button holes and the bridesmaids could have predominantly cream rose bouquets with both shades of pink plus pale pink roses in them

We had pale pink for the bridesmaids and they looked gorgeous. The bridesmaids had cream/white tulips and my bouquet was pink and white. All looked lovely.

We did have pink ties on the men with navy suits, which looked fab. Or just keep them navy. Or what about pale pink shirts on the men with a navy tie?

Dirtyblonde I like the idea of pink with gold and was thinking I could do pale gold dresses with pink flowers or pink dresses with a gold sash but this wouldnt work with grey suits would it?
