Just very excited and wanted to share with some other brides to be because I hate the thought of boring everyone else to tears with wedding chat haha!!

Getting married May 2020 and only started shopping last month.

I'm a bridal consultant in a wedding dress shop so thought I wouldn't get "the feeling" having tried on sooo many dresses already but I can honestly say it's the one!

Would love to see everyone else's choices!

@hellhavenofury Yeah those are my bridesmaid dresses! Total random find and absolute bargain - reduced to £47 each in House of Fraser sale!!
I have our Save The Dates printed and tucked away safe in a drawer at home but I'm desperate to send them out!! General rule appears to be 12 months before but I reaaaally want to send them, they've been in my kitchen drawer since I got them in the Black Fridays sales! Do you have yours?
Don't worry too much about not being super organised.. Just get anyone you really want as soon as possible and you'll always have options for everything else.

Little blonde, apologies! Not been on so just catching up, god I don't even know the name, I'm sure it's Emma Charlotte by Ladybird, SarahLouise Bridal in Glasgow is where I got it from.
Getting married in Giffnock and I still have so much to do, currently trying to decide on bridesmaid dresses 😂

I have two Bridesmaids who are 18 and one who is 10 and one who is 11 so trying to get them all to match is proving difficult, don't know if I'm looking in the right places, haven't done this before Confused

My wedding is on saturday and DS has just come down with a vomiting bug, no doubt soon to be passed on to DP and I Sad

I have five bridesmaids aged between 30 and 15. All are completely different shapes and sizes. I'm not doing any sort of matching dress. I've given them each £70 for a dress and told them to pick whatever they like. I have two in fifties style wiggle-dresses, one in gothic black, one in a sparkly one and one in a very sexy glamorous green maxi.

All this is assuming the wedding goes ahead and I'm not spending the day puking instead of course.

Bishalisha · 21/01/2019 15:46

@buggah my DD has just had it. It’s horrific. How old is your son? Bleach like a maniac and keep windows open as much as possible 😭

Buggerbuggerbuggerargh · 21/01/2019 15:57

He's three. He didn't have it badly at all. Puked once at 2am and that was it. It's always like that with him. I can't recall a single tummy bug he's had where he's puked more than once. Then DP and I get it a few days later properly!!!

LittleBlonde27 · 21/01/2019 20:55

@Buggerbuggerbuggerargh Get the dettol all in one anti bac spray and literally spray everything 10 times a day - it will be your best friend!! That and alcohol hand gel constantly. Sounds OTT but it's a lifesaver.

My hands are really sensitive and I can't wash them anymore, the skin is peeling.

user1474894224 · 22/01/2019 06:22

@bugger buy this and all use it for 3 or 4 doses....even before the big sets in. It's amazing. And disinfect everything in the house....door handles, taps, loo Handel's etc etc and good luck. Have a fab day. ENTEROSGEL Toxin Binding Gel for Cleansing the Gut 225g (Pack of 2) www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01M6V4DZT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.yRrCbBPY46TY?tag=mumsnetforum-21
