Any advice for a mother of the bride?
Trying to stay calm
My daughter is doing few things with regard to invites which are not right and I'm finding it difficult not to interfere.

Hello MOB and congratulations on your daughter's forthcoming wedding!
What's wrong with the invitations? Is it a terrible spelling error?
Wedding planning can be stressful and sometimes people can project deep emotional issues onto seemingly trivial arrangements- is there more to this? (I think people are giving you a bit of a hard time here)

Are there any jobs which you could pick up so you have a division of labour and some things which you are in charge of? If she's only at the invitations stage presumably there's a few months to go and once things get more fraught, if you can be helpful but not interfering she'll be glad of your support.
Is the problem with the invitations a matter of style/choice or factually incorrect?

Is the problem that you feel the invitation should be from you? And if so, are you paying?
