Any tips for eloping?
I have found the perfect venue which includes 2 night stay, ceromony, meal plus extras including champagne in a hot tub, photographer ect.. What else do I need to organise for the day other than brides dress, grooms suits, rings, registrar?
Thankyou 😁

Think you have it covered. We eloped in July 2018...best decision ever! We paid for outfits, tattoos for rings, accommodation was booked for the week/honeymoon, special dinner for the 2 of us after the ceremony, registrar and photographer. Did my own hair/make-up.

Flowers if you want them?

Congrats btw :)

Congratulations! We sort of eloped, ie, got wed without telling anyone, and it was great. Didn't even bother with a new dress or suit, just went off and did it! My parents were a bit cross about it, mind you.

Thankyou all! Would you take your own decor for the special day or just go with it? The one I like is a lake arbour outside so not alot you could do with it I guess

We didn't bother...the ceremony itself is over before you know it so would spend the money on something else. We had planned to be wed beside a beautiful tree in the garden on the Registry Office but it ended up tipping it down so stayed indoors. It was less than average lol but we didn't care and it's not noticeable in any of the pics. We were lucky that we booked a gorgeous house for our break so had most of our pics there.
