If you're happy to, please can you tell me your hymn choices for wedding! I really need to get thinking about this now, 6 month countdown Shock

People don’t sing much at weddings (except me!) so give them s fighting chance by choosing ones they know. If lots of friends from school are coming consider school assembly hymns. Sing Hosanna is easy and familiar.

I had Jerusalem & Morning has broken (not traditionally a Wedding hymn, but it’s my favourite). X

Just checked back to my request GrinGrinGrinthank you so much ! Just at gym currently then will sit down and go thru them all. So grateful ☺️ I definitely want ones people know. Will be lots of children, so ones that's they know from school etc too will be a bonus!

We had:

  • Praise My Soul The King Of Heaven
  • All People That On Earth Do Dwell (Old Hundredth)
  • At The Name of Jesus

Second the advice of using the church choir (or another choir) if you can. I think most of the congregation knew the hymns but the choir made it sound amazing, and helped everyone feel more confident about singing.
They also sang a couple of anthems during the signing of the register.

Didn't mean to make that bold Blush
