4 days to go ....

So this morning I woke up and finally admitted to myself that my wedding dress wasn't the one. I like it and it's nice but I don't love it.

So I confessed to OH this morning and we went shopping. Managed to find an off the peg dress that I love and feel amazing in. It's a little too long but I can manage for a day!

Anyone else had a last minute dress change of heart?

Thank you everyone. I feel so much more confident in this dress. Silly I know. We are off to the Lake District Sunday to get married the next day. Just a small ceremony. Big reception in the new year.

This is the first dress. I did like it, I just didn't feel special in it I guess. My Mum paid for it bless her. I felt bad but she understands.

My lovely OH treated me to today's dress. I think I didn't want to feel like a princess, no veil or tiara etc, but today I woke up and realised maybe I did 😂

@HollowTalk that's how I felt about it lol. It was "nice" which I realised wasn't the look I was going for on my wedding day 😬

Fingers crossed a lovely lady in my village who is a dress maker may be able to take it up a smidge for me before we leave on Sunday 😊

I'm hoping not! Will find out tomorrow. I love my shoes but I'd be willing to wear higher heels.

Whatever happens I'll get it taken up before the reception so I can dance in it 👍🏻
