Help! Are these shoes appropriate?

I recently bought these shoes for my (NYE) wedding but am having last minute doubts.. is it appropriate to wear closed toe shoes with a full length dress? The standard look seems to be strappy open toe high heels but I struggle to walk in many of those styles.

Is this kind of closed toe look okay with a full length /black tie type party or should I switch to high heeled strappy?

Don’t worry about being appropriate...wear what you like. I had a pair of high heeled New Rock boots with flames on them under my dress
