Hello!
I already spent a lot of money on invitations but my venue has closed down and so now need my invitations changed.
Except I'm on the tightest budget ever, I've seen a website that you can do your wedding invitation online and send people the link to RVSP. Wwyd? I honestly don't think I can bring myself to spend more money, more money on stamps, getting people's addresses again. What would you think if you received an online invitation Grin?

Hi OP I bet you are so stressed at it all now.
I am pretty sure your loved ones will understand why the invitations have changed due to the wedding venue closing. I think they will not care so long as you are happy. Good luck and congratulations!

I’d think you were sensible and would have no problem at all with it! So much of our lives are e based now, it wouldn’t seem out of the ordinary at all. Go for it!

I think it sounds very sensible. If you have some less I.T. Literate relatives you may want to make some for them.

Yes very stressed, there has been so many tears! On top of it all I gave birth 6 weeks ago so it's really not what I needed, I was gonna get some cheapy ones from b&m for grandparents and stuff, but I didn't know if it would seem weird to have it online? I don't want it to seem naff but most will through the invitation anyway so maybe it would be better

You poor thing OP. How stressful.
I'd think you were very sensible and it seems like the obvious and wisest solution to the problem.
As pp says above, perhaps a call or new invite (no need to go fancy) to guest who may not have email.

Have a fabulous wedding!
