Giving notice

Wedding November 2019 has been booked since May. After putting down the deposit for registrar we received an email to say that we need to give notice between Nov 2018 and Jan 2019.

I have a friends wedding planner as she has let me borrow it while wedding planning as she is super organised and it's helping me to think of all of the little details that I would normally forget. She has a booklet included that she was given where she has had to pick A B or C for readings, giving the rings, etc,

When do you receive that? Is it when you give notice?

In my area you get your planner after you've given notice. If your area allow you book your notice of marriage appointment online, then it will probably be mentioned on the website. If not, just ask the person you speak to when you phone to book your appointment.

When I booked the wedding/registrar over the phone and paid the £570 she told me we had to give notice 12months earliest prior to wedding and no later than 6weeks before I think, then must be married within the year.
I got the book emailed to me about the ceremony, readings etc with my receipt of payment
