Struggling to find a.dress. 2nd marriage. I'm mid 40's have 4 kids size 18-20.

I have given up believing what sales assistants say as they would tell you u look stunning in a bin bag!.

This is the first dress I saw which actually fit.

Please give me honest opinions.

Thanks xx

Sorry ignore sleeve comment I see it's on a jacket so can be removed whenever.

Glad you got it Smile

cindersrella · 05/09/2018 18:53

I think think it looks perfect 😍

holidaylady · 05/09/2018 18:55

It's fabulous! You look amazing in it!
How do you feel wearing it?

Have a wonderful wedding day!

onedream · 05/09/2018 18:56

You look lovely..it's a beautiful dress

ilovewelshrarebit123 · 05/09/2018 19:42

It's stunning but I'd add a sparkly belt then it would be perfect!

torthecatlady · 05/09/2018 19:49

Looks like the same dress my friend bought and it looks great. If you haven't already bought it, buy it!

My friend also opted for the bolero / jacket / sleeves thing!

Wed2be by any chance? Grin I recognise the carpet, curtains and the pipe ceiling.

fuzzyfozzy · 05/09/2018 19:56

Is there a front pic without the jacket
Did you try a pretty belt on
Don't buy it because it's the first dress buy it because you love it, but it looks lovely

blinkywinky · 05/09/2018 19:59

I tried it with a belt but I'm not a mad bling person so I opted not to have it.
I feel good in it. It is Wed2b. I'm not sure if I only love it cos of the price.

I’d love to see the veil too, op! I hope your dress makes you feel like a queen on your wedding day.

OwThatsGottaHurt · 05/09/2018 20:01

It is very flattering - suits you really well. Very elegant!!

LIVIA999 · 05/09/2018 20:04

Love it. I love it with the sleeves though. Mostly as I just love lace and I think arms covered on a wedding dress are prettier. The more lace the better in my opinion!
Congratulations on your wedding.

Singlenotsingle · 05/09/2018 20:05

It's a lovely dress and very flattering, but it's a second marriage and you've got 4 kids. Did you not have a white wedding last time?

blinkywinky · 05/09/2018 20:15

I did have a white wedding before. My children are all with my fiance..

SecretWitch · 05/09/2018 20:18

Oh, op...just saw the picture of your veil! It’s lovely.

Surinamtoad · 05/09/2018 20:18

You look fantastic, congratulations!

Ilovewillow · 05/09/2018 20:18

It's lovely and fits beautifully!

BretonStripe · 05/09/2018 20:19

Singlenotsingle what decade are we in?! Grin I'm sure plenty of brides wear white 2nd time around, and/or with kids.

It looks gorgeous OP! Congrats.

wednesdayrobyn · 05/09/2018 20:20

You look great it’s a lovely dress, have a fab wedding.

NotTakenUsername · 05/09/2018 20:21

Really flattering. A lovely choice and mid forty isn’t old!

greendale17 · 05/09/2018 20:21

Sorry but I don’t like it at all.

EdWinchester · 05/09/2018 20:27

Honest opinion as requested.

The dress is OK, but honestly, I would not wear a veil - too young for someone in their 40s (and on their 2nd marriage). Much nicer without.

shirleyschmidt · 05/09/2018 20:36

I really like it. Personally for a white wedding I always love a veil. it finishes the look and makes you look bridal. Don't get a belt, it'll bring your chest too close to your waist. Congratulations on the wedding!

Fairylea · 05/09/2018 20:37

I really like it. I love the lace sleeves. You look beautiful.
