Is this suitable as a wedding dress??

I am not sure if this is meant to be a bridesmaid dress or a bridal gown. We are having a wedding on New Year's Eve in a hotel (no church) and asking guests to wear evening dress. Would this be appropriate or would I risk blending in with the guests? Still want to look like a bride!

Is this suitable as a wedding dress??

Looks like a wedding dress to me.

A very beautiful one at that. I'd possibly put some sort of belt or something with it though.

Do you have a very flat stomach? Satin can show every lump and bump even with spanx

100% brides dress not guest or bridesmaid.

I think it’s absolutely gorgeous and very suitable for a NYE wedding.

TakeAChanseyOnMe · 30/08/2018 15:49

That is stunning. I do agree that it could be very unforgiving unless heavily lined. Might crease badly too. Where is it from?

Bombardier25966 · 30/08/2018 16:00

That's beautiful! You might blend in a little because everyone will be in evening wear, but that will be the case whatever unless you go for a big blancmange number.

It's stunning. Wear it.

Rebecca36 · 30/08/2018 16:31

I think it is lovely and eminently suitable. You will look marvellous!

Disfordarkchocolate · 30/08/2018 16:33

It's beautiful, I wish I still had the figure for it.

eggofmantumbi · 30/08/2018 16:39

It is WOW! no way you'll blend in wearing that. Gorgeous!

loobywench · 30/08/2018 16:44

Perfect for NYE too.

Margaurette · 30/08/2018 21:34

bastardkitty · 30/08/2018 21:35

It's really beautiful.

onemachine · 30/08/2018 21:43

Absolutely gorgeous where’s it from i want the same for my wedding!

Racecardriver · 30/08/2018 21:48

No problem I think.

annandale · 30/08/2018 21:50

That is FABULOUS

How much bling are you wearing? Needs diamonds imo.

Apileofballyhoo · 30/08/2018 21:52

Beautiful dress. I'm not a fan of people who wear long white or off white dresses to weddings so the bride should be safe wearing a long white dress without blending in!

GuntyMcGee · 30/08/2018 21:52

That's gorgeous!

It needs some serious bling, a sophisticated updo and some incredible shoes.

Definitely not bridesmaidy.

SnuggyBuggy · 30/08/2018 22:04

I think it would work really well for a glamorous NYE wedding. It's a nice combo of bridal and black tie.

Mummyme87 · 30/08/2018 22:14

Looks fabulous

sue51 · 30/08/2018 22:18

feliciabirthgiver · 30/08/2018 22:27

Stunning

bimbobaggins · 30/08/2018 22:31

It’s absolutely stunning op and you definitely won’t be blending in

FogCutter · 30/08/2018 22:33

Absolutely stunning dress, I love it.

And it's definitely a dress for a bride. Needs jewellery though. And very high heels!

BakedBeeeen · 30/08/2018 22:36

Oh wow it's gorgeous! Yes very bridal. Maybe some bling in the hair also?? You'll need to make sure you get some good underwear with no visible lines!!
