Ideas for flower girl baskets please

Hi,

I am getting married next year. We are on a tight budget and trying to keep it small and simple but we both come from big families which is making it impossible!

We have 8 flowergirls (all very close family) all under the age of 8. I would like them to have a really simple white basket for flower petals. Preferably not satin as it makes my teeth itch Shock

I can't find anything within our budget! Any ideas about where I could get them cheap/How to be creative most welcome please.

Thank you

Also we have lots of children coming so any general tips or ideas for the day would also be great! Thanks.

Plain white baskets are available at the range for a few pounds, maybe also try eBay.
A little busy pack is helpful to keep kids entertained during the wedding reception. Depending on ages we had plain white paper bags with crayons( pack of 8 £1.99 at the range)
, some printed colouring pages
A handmade mask( we did unicorns,
All you need is a marker card and elastic( they can colour in too)
A little bag of chunky beads and letter beads with a ( knotted at one end) length of thread to make a bracelet .
A mini bubbles
Mini 0's and X's ( draw on tiny pebbles and make the board on a small piece of card)
We got all the above at the range very reasonably
Also disposable cameras are fun for the elder children but can get expensive.
Congratulations and have a great day!

Some great ideas there Thank you.

Wedding is a year away and already I'm panicking!

I've never organised anything like this before and feel slightly out of my depth.

The range and B&M can be good for baskets.
I had a lot of children at mine and bought a big general box of Lego and sorted it in to cellophane bags I got from amazon. Suited all ages and there are photos of some lovely creations.
