Has anyone got any experience of shopping at and purchasing a wedding dress from Wed2b?

Yes, mine came from there. Are you unsure?

Mine came from there. Really lovely shop and service IME

I went shopping there with a bride and personally was impressed, dressed seemed lovely for the price and I couldn't tell the difference between the ones for £1200. Bride went for the expensive one 😕

I've found a dress that I love, but I really want to loose some weight before the wedding. If you buy a dress from there is it possible to exchange for a smaller size if needed, does anyone know?

Hhm not sure about that sorry. Their team on Facebook are so helpful though if you ask them.

I would say, if you're quite sure you'd return it, I wouldn't bother buying it in the first place. Also, depending on how much you're planning in losing a dressmaker can adjust, mine was taken in a fair amount after a lost a couple of stone.

I had Divine by Anna Sorrano.

I think you've only got two weeks to refund/exchange. Also, agree dresses for the most part are good quality and look as good as the £1000+ ones

I got mine from wed 2 b. They have new styles regularly so if you’re looking to lose a fair amount of weight I would wait until you’re closer to your goal to go. One or two sizes could be sorted by a good seamstress depending on the style though

I've bought mine from there and i am sure most of their dresses can be taken in up to two dress sizes (this is what i was told) which dress is it that you like?

chickacharlie · 20/08/2018 08:19

Thanks for responses- I've bought my dress!!

It's the Sailor dress, with the Allure skirt over it. It's HUGE. I can whip the skirt off in the evening when we have a Ceilidh band on. The sales assistant said I could lose upto a stone and a half but no more ( which is fine by me!)
