Hacked off that I've already wasted £100''s on this wedding.

Wedding is later on this year. Started planning in the Spring. I love a bargain basically because I have no money.
So I bought a lovely high street wedding dress back in March. No one seemed wowed by it. I liked it though and kept it. Tried some others on in bridal shop for fun and everyone loved a certain one in a non white colour ( although too small) . Pleased I found it on eBay but by the time shipping and tax were added the dress was £650. And it's still a bit small.

Anyway the first dress has just popped up on her when I was browsing threads and it's now half price. Last week eBay informed me that they have a dress I might like like. Yes it's my second bloody dress, in the right size and only £450 but in plain white.

I have just bought flowers ( silk) and they don't go with the bridesmaids dresses at all. I am now concerned that my colour dress won't go with theirs or any flowers I like.

There seems no good solution but to buy yet more stuff, either flowers or BM's dresses or wear the dress that no one likes. Can anyone talk me down please. I'm getting really fed up with all the fuss I'm getting sucked into over this.

Ok- never mind what other people think of the dress, do you love it? Because you rarely get the “WOW!” expected when you’re standing in your own bedroom without your hair and make up done, maybe not wearing heels and not wearing all the right undies that you would on the day.

Can you dye the flowers or the BM dresses?

You liked the first dress so wear it! You're the bride

Does it really matter if it "goes"? Wear what you like!
Someone asked me what the theme for our wedding was and I said "er... wedding theme" and "things we like" :D

It's more that one dress is now half price and the other is a third cheaper. In less than 7 months of purchase. And the flowers ( now returned) need to be rebought.
It's fine. My period has come and gone - possibly a bit hormonal

I am going to wear both dresses and hopefully sell on the second afterwareds.
