Hi all
I get married in 5 weeks...
Haven't managed to lose the baby weight, feeling a bit crappy about my appearance. What can/should I do over the next few weeks to make myself feel better?
I have a facial booked next week and pedicure as my feet are gross.
Should I get mani/pedi a couple of days before wedding?
I have got a relative whose a professional make up artist doing my hair and make up on the big day and we are having a practice session soon.
Am I missing anything...?

Mine is in three weeks and I'm fatter than I'd like to be and it's general laziness rather than baby weight! Hmm

You will look great, sounds like you've organised good things to help you feel great on the day.

If you can afford it, a chemical face peel does incredible things - if you can find somewhere you can ask their recommendation but I think the day before the wedding or 2 days before is best.

I had my first one a few weeks ago as a trial offer for a new business near me and I had quite low expectations but was blown away.

Make sure you've got Great underwear / shapewear.

Definitely a mani / pedi and a spray tan.

Make sure you keep well hydrated for the week before and also lots of early nights.

You will look gorgeous!!

Drink lots of water!

Drink lots of water, get plenty of sleep.
Get wax, mani, pedi, hair colour as needed
Don't wash your hair on the day of the wedding. It's easier for the hair stylist if you wash it the day before

All good advice so far. And you probably have time to loose a few pounds if that would help? Do a 15 min hitt video everynight and try and make healthy choices - not a crash diet, but something which might also contribute to skin/general wellbeing etc? Even if I don't loose weight I always feel my body looks better when I've been exercising.

Thanks all, yes good advice.
I can't do HITT because I've got a prolapse and anything like that makes it worse but I am making it to the gym 3 times a week and trying to be better with food/wine choices. I manage it maybe 5 days out of 7 but it just hasn't been enough.

Cut out bread, rice, pasta & potatoes and eat clean between now and the wedding. Drink 3-4 litres of water a day. Drink lemon water too.

Thanks everyone! I actually lost 3lb last week SmileSmile
I can't completely cut carbs, it makes me go crazy, but have managed to reduce a lot.
