Need ideas! Present for 2 yr old boy, wedding related..

My very good friends are getting married and I've helped then make their wedding rings in silver as their present from us.. I have bits left over from making their rings which I can melt down..was thinking of making a small heart pendant/charm for their daughter, aged 6, not sure what to make for their son, aged 2. Would have to be small, just a keepsake, but a tiny heart that can't be worn as a pendant might get lost. Any ideas? Was just thinking make them both the same but not sure if he'd really use it/wear it.

Could you make something for when he's older like cuff links, a tie pin or a key fob?

could you make something and set it in resin or glass, like the date in silver letters?

or his name, or just the first letter...

Ooh good ideas..not sure there's enough left for cufflinks but I've made them before so could manage that..like the idea of setting their initials in resin. Thanks!
