I have a few silly questions. We get married in just over 2 weeks.
I was supposed to loose weight but that didnt happen. What can i do within the next 2.5 weeks to make me feel good on the day.
I have a hair and make up person booked for on the day. Getting nails done the day before.
I have spanx, and jewellery, shoes etc i dont wear dresses often, or heels so making it a mission to wear both more before the day so i dont fall over myself.
Also, do i take a bag? I would need my car/ house keys, and phone. Staying in a hotel the night before so need to check out before we leave.
How do i get creases out of my dress. Panic has set in now. Is there anything obvious im likely to be forgetting?
When do i get my legs waxed? I have dark hair and regrowth is almost immediate but dont want to turn up bruised.
Thanks in advance.

Chill! Firstly. If you were serious about losing weight. DH and I usually do the 5:2 diet before holiday and can usually lose about a stone in a month. So you could lose half?

However as to your other questions, stop trying to worry, it will be all fine on the day.

Wax your legs about 4 days before, yes take a bag, do you have anyone you can trust with it?

Steam creases out of your dress by holding the kettle/iron close to it, but not touching!

Also pack a pair of comfy shoes to switch into as soon as you can. I only wore my grown up shoes for the ceremony and the rest of the time wore some cheap flip flops. Heaven. No one could see so who cares?

Congratulations.

Try not to worry too much & enjoy your day.

If you can, try to eat well (no chocolate & crisps), drink lots of water & get as much sleep as you can - your skin will thank you.

Can you wear your wedding shoes around the house, so they don't feel too alien on the day.

I had a small pearl bag, but I kept putting it down & losing it - could you maybe give your bits & bobs to someone else to keep safe for you? (bridesmaid/venue?)

You can steam the creases out, or just hang it without the bag.

I would get your legs waxed on the Wednesday/Thursday. Do you usually get bruised from waxing?

Thank you both.
I have tried the military diet before and lost 7lbs in 3 days so will try that over the 3 days before. I will look into the 5:2 diet though. Will deffinately cut out the junk and up my water intake.
Have been walking around in the shoes today so will keep doing that.
I rarely get waxed but when my mum has done it i end up bruised. Hoping a proffesional wont bruise me. Booked that for 2 days before.
Im not wearing a traditional dress. So really should be fine to iron but i will save that as a last resort. Will hang it up and hope they drop then try blasting with kettle steam. I dont trust myself with the iron. I can keep my keys and phone in my mums bag or OHs pocket. And will take a bag with flat shoes, have seen some exactly like my heels so will switch to them.
Thank you so much. I feel like i needed somone who isnt me to tell me to chill the fuck out.

Next question, how do i stop myself laughing during the vows? I know either me or OH will giggle. We have a strange relationship. I laugh when im nervous. I am also going to feel so stupid saying these things to OH with people watching. Infact how do i get over this insane feeling of nerves at the idea of people looking at me? Can i suggest everyone wear blindfolds?

I’m getting married in 9 days time!!! I also needed to lose weight and my last dress fitting I still had back flab so I have been doing body wraps (ActiLabs) and they are seriously working at losing some inches. I don’t care if it’s only short term, it’s what I need to fit and feel comfortable in my dress.

Don’t put keys etc in DH pocket - they always bulge in photos and look noticeable. Have a small handbag and leave it with your mum.

Really try not to worry about giggling or being nervous, it happens. The celebrants are used to this and should be able to help keep you relaxed and able to say what you need to. Don’t forget to have a tissue handy, and maybe a quick drink of cold water just before you walk down the aisle to stop you having that dry mouth feeling.

Good luck.
