Opinions on this dress please

I sent it to a friend and her response was it’s a bit plain.

Would like some other opinions please.

Thanks, I’ve got about 6 months for the dress to come in so 6 months to see if I can lose the baby weight before deciding on the back.

OP I had exactly the same thing with my dress. I liked a couple from Ghost and Monsoon which everyone said were too plain. I bought a more lacy one one from Quiz in the end which loved lovely on and everyone said said it was too plain as well.
I have bought a second completely over the top one which I am wearing to the reception.
Something to keep everyone happy!
I think people lose sight of the overall image of the wedding. Once you have a pretty venue, flowers, fairy lights etc less is more.

Sorry - your dress if really lovely by the way. I might worry that's it's too white ( less flattering than a shade of off white ) but it's a beautiful dress.

I love it - big fan of the open back. Far from being plain, I think with the right updo it could be quite dramatic

I think it's lovely: classy and elegant, as PPs have said. There is a bit of a trend for more blingy wedding dresses lately, and it is easy to get caught up in that, but IMO, less bling is more sophisticated.

It's very classy, it's absolutely stunning. Don't show anyone else, people's opinions always mess with your head on things like this and baby names. Reveal once it's too late (my opinion is on the wedding day) and that way you don't second guess it. A friend of mine bought 3 wedding dresses because of this.
