Hey, what have people written on the seating plan and name cards, 'mum' 'real name ' or mother of the bride '
Also those with 2 sets of parents have u sat them with the opposite as tradition or sat them in there couples ? Thank you x

Brides Mum/Grooms Dad I think we put but not sure of the usual.

We sat parents as couples & wrote proper names on seating plan / place cards

“Mother of the bride” etc on the cards. We sat people together in couples, my mum made it crystal clear beforehand she preferred to sit with my dad

We had my mother with my husband's father, and my father with my husband's mother, but that is because one set of parents was divorced and didn't want to sit together.

I don't think it much matters which you do,
